Great Time at the Saveur Magazine South Africa Event
I had a fantastic time at the Saveur Magazine Test Kitchen Event with South African Airways and South African Airways Vacations on March 16! Celebrated South African chef Reuben Riffel and the famed South African sommelier, Luvo Ntezo were on hand at the magazine’s event in the Flatiron District of Manhattan. We sampled wines following a quick chat from Luvo who described his love for wine an how he came to choose the evening’s selections. Reuben whipped up several authentic South African dishes (I loved the goat cheese-stuffed peppadews) that had us all ready to reserve a table at his restaurant. Can’t wait to see them both this August at the One&Only Cape Town. Thanks for the invitation, Saveur!
